Her language skills aren't entirely the best when it comes to common, so phrases can confuse her, or certain slang would completely fly over her head. This can lead to hilarious moments of her misunderstanding things and saying some crazy nonsense you wouldn't expect.If you tell Medli she isn't capable of doing something, that she shouldn't do something, or she wouldn't understand something...she's going to do it if even if it'd kill her. She lives in the moment entirely, she believes in the strength given to her by her tribe's ways to an almost zealot quality of stubborn fortitude.--I'm Combat Ready!!

She loves her gun so much. It is the first thing she obtained that clued her into the world beyond the Steppe. Biography
Medli grew up on The Steppe, particularly raised in the Dawn Throne by her father and eleven brothers. She is the youngest of her family and for very, very good reasons, they prevented her from interacting with males (...let's face it everyone, Medli had a gift in finding every person interested in doing something off with her) of other tribes and even most of their own. They for the most part sheltered her to protect her from possibly being whisked away by the other tribes due to her overly trusting, extremely friendly and loving nature. She for the most part has zero malicious intent even during things such as the Naadam. She found the events like that to be for fun and sport more than being some serious trial for power.She however, despite being quite good at hiding it, deep down has a little sore spot she's never vocalized that she wishes the tribes would just join together as one. To actually work together not just as the Oronir, the Buduga, or any of the countless other tribes that littered The Steppe. Many instances of her attempting to sneak away to learn more about the other tribes were met with her brothers shoulder carrying her away from whoever had caught her attention while scolding her for running off. ...Especially her eldest brother who had a knack for finding her at this point.================="The Journey to the West!"Medli was normally allowed to leave the Dawn Throne only to go gather herbs for her medicines that she would craft and sell to the others of the Throne. She used it to help support her family and as an excuse to go explore a bit. One day, she accidentally encountered a strange man in steel clothes. He was carrying a strange piece of metal with a hole in the front and when he saw her, he expected her to attack considering she had a hefty axe on her back. He aimed at her, and fired the strange piece of metal at her causing her to dive out of the way.As she saw what the thing did, she was far from upset by the idea that he tried to harm her in the face of her overwhelming awe and excitement at the idea of seeing such a wonderous tool. She swung the flat of her axe right at the man's head knocking him out. When the strange man came to, he would find his helmet off, her sitting on his chest, wrists bound by a ribbon she had been wearing at the time, and his legs planted precariously to where he couldn't pull them free without getting her off his waist first.She had his gun in her hands, staring at it excitedly as she tried to figure out what it was. She started asking a million questions in her native tongues but as she realized he didn't understand her, Medli pointed at his forehead and gestured she was confused what the strange 'pimple', as she calls it, was on his forehead. He explained he was 'Garlean', and when she showed him she wanted to use his gun, he quickly denied it, yelling at her to give it back.Startled by the sudden outburst, she accidentally jumped, firing the gun at his leg causing him to scream out.One session of medical attention and her getting him to promise to do his best in telling her how to use the gun, where he was from and if she could go there, she discovered he was from far away and that there was an exit that would take her there. She took his gun, his information and her excited wagging tail straight to Eorzea where she would become quite the chaotic presence to all of the westerners as she pestered them to teach her common, about their customs, and get herself into massive amounts of crazy situations and trouble.

>>Medli is naturally curious about anything Western/Eorzean or even things she hasn't seen from the East such as Doman based things except for the stuff she had seen in Kugane when she had to book it through after angering the Sekisegumi for entering Kugane against the law without realizing it and having zero understanding of their language she had figured it best to simply just keep running until she could leave the city.Perhaps your character has something that would catch her eye, or perhaps you notice she wearing a strange hodge podge of types of clothes that she probably snagged in her travels making her look outlandish for an AuRa that is obviously from The Steppe.>>She's extremely curious, it's very easy to catch her attention with shiny things or offering to provide an education in some field to her.
